  • Yupz, that’s me. Actually that’s me in the year 2000. But I guess that’s the way I prefer to look and to be remembered. Sighz, those were the days (when I was still young and trim). Well, all good things must come to an end (juz that this ended sooner than I’d like).

It’s hard to tell you what I’m really like on a webpage. I can’t tell you my strengths without sounding pompous, nor can I tell you my faults without seeming like I want to be sympathized with. I’m the sort of person which weird things revolve around. I don’t seek them out, or plot to be at the centre of things (maybe sometimes I do *wink*), but if there’s something weird (nope, I can’t figure out a better word) or highly improbable (well, maybe I can), I usually get embroiled in it somehow. I’m the sort of person who will as likely strike lottery as to be struck down by lightning. Some people may think that’s pretty exciting, but that’s just the upside of it. For me, I live with it the best way I can.

With the above introduction, you will probably have figured out that I must be a pretty wacky character (or simply schizophrenic). I guess I am. Oh, don’t let my looks fool you, I may look perfectly normal on the outside (described as decent and well-behaved by the misinformed), but I’m really the opposite on the inside. I love to have fun, yeah, and I really do mean fun, it could range from the normal to what some might consider vices (with the exception of seeking out the services of paid-sex, how loser is it to pay for sex?!), for example drinking and gambling. If it’s new and exciting, I’d love to try it :)

I have my mood swings too, I can be cold and heartless at one moment, but sympathetic and understanding the next. I am very sarcastic, but yet am very aware of other people’s feelings as well. I’m an oxymoron (no, not moron) yet my different sides coexist perfectly. I like to ramble too, but I guess that’s evident by now.

A little about how I ended up in Canberra, Australia. I was stuck in my Computer Engineering course in NUS (National University of Singapore) for two and a half years, and it was really stifling. My career path seemed extremely bleak, especially when I know I’d refuse to find a job that is related to Computer Engineering in any way. I’d already fulfilled my dream of staging a musical (sort-of) through my extra-curricular activities in Uni, NUS held no more possibilities for me.

In what I can only describe as an act of commendable courage (if you knew my dad, you’d understand why), I asked my dad to send me abroad. Fast forward 4 months, and here I am, sitting in my room in Canberra, making a website on my PC. This webpage is mostly to let my friends know how I’m getting along here, so I won’t bore you with further anecdotes from my life :)
